How can I disable Quick Take?

Is it possible to disable the Quick take feature from taking a video when you hold down the shutter button?

I don't want videos when taking pictures.

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14

Hello Taichiskier,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We're glad you're here!

We understand from your comments that you'd like to know how to change the Quick Take feature when you'd like to take only pictures, and not videos.

Check out this link About the Camera features on your iPhone

Scroll down to learn about this option: "Slide to the left for burst mode

  • Slide the Shutter button to the left and hold it to take a burst of photos, then release it to stop.
  • With iOS 14, you can capture photos in burst mode by pressing the Volume up button.
  • Just go to Settings > Camera and turn on Use Volume Up for Burst."

We trust these tips will help you capture your memories just as you intend.

Warmest regards!
