I can’t use the intercom feature.

Can’t use the intercom feature with my new HomePod Mini. Everything is up to date. My phone says I need to turn intercom on in my Home settings. It is on. Turned the phone on and off. Tried my watch also and that said need to update. It is up to date as well.

You’ve updated the new HomePod mini as well? Everything needs to be on iOS 14.3

Make sure you set it up correctly

Use HomePod as an intercom - Apple Support


If it’s still not working try a Restart

Restart HomePod from the Home App: 

Open the Home App - go to the Room it’s in 

Deep press on the HomePod icon to bring up settings, scroll down to the gear icon, tap that, scroll to the bottom to Reset HomePod- tap that - then select Restart HomePod
