Many corporate cellular plans do not allow adding an Apple Watch to the plan.

If your Wife's corporate plan does, then it is different from all the other reports I've seen, including the company I work for.

She should contact the Verizon company representative. There is most likely contact information associated with the corporate plan's web site. They would be able to tell your Wife if an Apple Watch can be added to the plan.

Assuming the plan does not allow adding an Apple Watch, she can pair the Apple Watch as if it was a GPS only Apple Watch, and it will do Everything the cellular model will do As Long As the iPhone is nearby.

If the iPhone supports a Dual SIM (physical SIM and an eSIM), then she can add a private cellular contract to the eSIM and pair the Apple Watch with the private phone number. More expensive than $10 per month, but possible.

Use Dual SIM iPhone with Apple Watch cellular models

You could set up the Apple Watch Family Plan on your iPhone, and treat her Apple Watch as if it was a dependent child's Apple Watch. It will have less functionality than if it was paired to her own iPhone, as a dependent child would not be allowed full access to all the information on your iPhone.

Apple extends the Apple Watch experience to the entire family
