I just received back my Late 2016 Macbook Pro w/ touchbar with OS Mojave from Apple. I would like to do a complete restore from my Time Machine backup. Apple did not change my OS Mojave which was great. If you know of a link for proper instructions and/or a video, I would sincerly appreciate it? Thanks, and have a "Happy New Year!!"

Proceed that way if you wish. But note the recovery process will end up doing exactly what I suggested for the Time Machine restore. The Recovery article spells that out for you.
Thank you. I did see that but, I'm a little confused. It instructs you to use Migration Assistant if you need to restore the OS. I don't need to restore the OS, all I need to do is the TM backup I made just prior to sending it in to Apple. Thanks 👍😊
Thanks.... I was under the impression that Migration Assistant is only used for restoring an OS and for installing a TM backup to a different computer. I've read elsewhere to attach you external HD > start the computer while holding the command R keyes, etc. This is why I'm confused. Thanks again.
