Using same account on two devices to share iCloud backup only

iPhone and iPad presently had same account. iPad use the 5G for iCloud backup. What needs doing to increase iCloud to next level and then use it on on iPhone for iCloud backup?

Hi there,

you may use iCloud on as many devices as you would like, however if you need to upgrade the storage option for iCloud you may reference the article below.

Hi, thanks for your info. Sorry for taking so long to get back to this.

So if I understand what you have told me is this:

1) on my iPad, upgrade iCloud from 5G to 50G

2) on my iPhone 8+, set it up to use that same iCloud for backup as is now for the iPad. Will have to figure details again.
