How do I know what my password is when signing up for subscriptions using "sign in with Apple?

I signed up for New York Times on my iPad using "sign in with Apple". Now I want to also access articles on my PC but I don't know what my password is (generated by Apple I guess). I know the email that was created and used by going to "manage apps and websites" in iCloud but how can I look up what my password is so I can use it on my pc?

Same question, different situation. On a newly installed phone app I signed up/in with Apple, choosing Hide my email. The app shows that my email is (say) . Okay so far. Email from the app vendor to the relay address was forwarded to the email address used as the Apple ID on that phone. But the app has a web interface and I don't know the app password. What am I missing?

Comment: It is easy to see why so many consumers end up using the same password for different accounts. When a subscription account or username is required to be an email address it is easy to get confused and accidentally create a shared password by using the password of the email account.
