Remove contact from group chat

How can I delete a person from a group chat that I created on my IPhone 12 Promax?I swiped left to right on the name and remove is not coming up

How do you remove someone from a group chat? Please read my full queston below before replying. How do you remove someone from a group chat. It's November 2019 and I have the latest iOS on my iPhone 8 Plus. I created a group where I can delete people off the group but that group has only 5 people. I created another with 15 people and the same swipe left over the name to remove, does not work. Is there no way to remove people since some do not want to be on this group? I already tried this but one cannot swipe left to delete in this group. It simply isn't an option.... Remove a person Tap the group conversation that has the contact you want to remove. Tap the top of the group conversation. Tap , then swipe left over the name of the person you want to remove. Tap Remove, then tap Done.

It sounds like you're having trouble removing someone from your group message. We can give you some pointers that can help.

Keep in mind, you can only remove someone from a group text message if there are already three or more people in the group.
