Adobe Flash support ended New Years eve. Apple is not responsible for Adobe software, or Adobe business decisions to end support for a product. Websites have had three years notice by Adobe that Flash was going away last evening, and to convert their sites to HTML5 which is supported by Safari and all major browsers.

My MacBook Pro is running macOS Catalina and my main browser is Safari. What will happen if I "uninstall" Flash Player, which is recommended? Will I notice any changes and will I still have the content that I have enjoyed the past three years on my Mac?
Nothing will happen. Whether you remove Flash or not, you will lose access to any and all Flash content on the web. Flash is dead.
There is a kill switch built into all Flash publishing and viewing products that will cause it to stop working completely in another 6 days if it hasn't already been taken down by the publishers.

Adobe does not stop, Flash Player reaches end-of-life. You do not need a replacement.
