I accidentally deleted something from the word folder in the files app, when I go to the recently deleted folder and try to recover it I can press recover and the file seems to leave the folder and recover but it never does it just adds a number to the end of the file name when I go back into recently deleted.

Is this the only file that you're having issues recovering? You can test it out by deleting a test file, and see if you can recover it without any issues.
If you haven't yet, we also recommend that you try restarting your device to see if it helps: Restart your iPhone
If you're only having this issue with one specific file, then it's possible that the Word file might be corrupted. In that case, we suggest that you contact Microsoft support to see if you can recover this file through another method.

Thank you for the suggestion but unfortunately I don’t utilize the iCloud Drive. I saved the document locally, do you know of any other reason why the file will not recover? I’ve tried several times since I last posted to no avail.
