I got a phone message to fix locked apple Id and was asked for info including ss # and unthinkingly I put it in.....what do I do? it must have been a scam

what can I do to protect myself?

Contact Social Security to see what you need to do to protect your Social Security number.


If you supplied any credit card information, contact the company that issued the card, and ask them to cancel the card. Then request they issue you a new card.
