Someone elses’s name appears when I open my iMessage page

When I open my iMessage page, someone elses’s name appears . How do I change it to my name?

When I open my messages app, someone else’s name appears instead of mine on top of the page before the messages

What has happened is that you have accidentally pinned a text message, from / to that person at the top. This is a feature of iOS 14 to maintain easy access with those texts that you use the most. You can unpin that message-

You can Touch and Hold that message icon at the top and it will reveal a sub-menu and then you can tap on Unpin. That will remove that message thread from the top.
