iPhone 12 - Storage bar colours

When you check your iPhone storage via the : Setting - General - iPhone Storage. it is indicated by different colours which relate to the indicated sections below this line. My multi colours have disappeared and there is just a single colour, this equals the first colour of the indicates section below. ie, in my case ;- Purple/mauve. Any suggestions please??

How as this occurred plus what can be done to correct them?

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF). 


Once the above task has been completed successfully then wait for approximately 15 - 20 minutes to allow the iPhone to index the files. Then check again and see whether Force-Restarting the iPhone has resolved it.

It would be better if you can please re-post with a screenshot, in order to understand the phenomenon better. Images / pictures speak louder than words. Do not provide any personal credentials, such as email id, apple id, IMEI number, Serial Number, Phone number, Order ID, if you are sharing a map ensure your location is not identifiable. Etc.
