Apple Watch 6 and Ring Door Bell Alerts

I have a Ring Door Bell and DID get alerts on my iPhone X until I got an Apple Watch 6 paired with the iPhone. I have Googled and played about with the notification settings on both devices including checking the settings on the Ring DB. I am aware The Apple Watch is not supported by Ring but I have seen on Google that you can get the alerts on the AW 6. You do get notifications on the AW 6 for other apps e.g. WhatsApp, that are not available for the AW from the iPhone but has anyone else had this issue? If so what is the resolution?

iPhone X, iOS 14

Yes, I get Ring notifications on my Apple Watch.

In addition I use the iPhone Rapid Ring app (also from Ring.com in the iPhone App Store). Rapid Ring is dedicated to just responding to Ring alerts, and Rapid Ring even transfers a snapshot image to your Apple Watch.

You still need the Ring app, as Rapid Ring will not go back and show you prevent events.

The Ring app and the Rapid Ring app are configured to generate alerts. In my case, motion alerts and actual ringing of the doorbell.

Under iPhone -> Watch app -> Notifications -> Rapid Ring -> Enabled (1)

I do not have a iPhone -> Watch app -> Notifications entry for Ring on my iPhone.

iPhone -> Watch app -> Notifications -> Notifications Indicator -> Enabled (1)

iPhone -> Watch app -> Notifications -> Always Show Short Looks -> Enabled (1)

iPhone -> Watch app -> Notifications -> Notification Privacy -> Disabled (0)

I'm using watchOS 7.2 and iOS 14.3, but my Ring alerts have been showing up on my Apple Watch for the past 2 years (how long I've owned an Apple Watch).
