iPad connection issue

I bought a new IPad and it only seems to connect properly in the room with the router. My old IPad continues to work in all rooms in the house but the new one will stopping working after 5 minutes or so and I need to reconnect each time. I’ve tried rebooting etc and tampering with the flight mode as someone suggested but nothing seems to work. Same is true of my partners IPad. Both our phones work everywhere in the house without issue. Netflix is working fine on tv so WiFi is working on other devices to. Any help welcome. Thanks.

This could be a connection issue with the router. Forget the network on your iPad, power cycle the iPad. Try rebooting the router by disconnecting the power for a minimum of 30 seconds, then plug it back in again and wait for it to complete connections. Once it has done that, go back to the iPad and log back into the wi-fi on the iPad and test.
