How to delete upgrade files

No Installer in the Applications folder. Please note that I didn't

upgrade to the new Big Sur. Files are already downloaded. How can I

If the full installer downloaded to your Mac then it would be sitting in your Applications folder.

If it did not download the full installer then will not be in your Application folder, nor anywhere else—then your assumption would be a red-herring.

Big Sur states that you will need 35.5 GB of free storage when upgrading from High Sierra or newer, and 44.5 GB when upgrading from an older versions. Big Sur's full installer is ~12.8 GB in size in it's 'compressed' form.

Applications/ "Install macOS Big Sur.app"

You will find the Big Sur Installer in the Applications folder.

The installer name is really "Install macOS Big Sur.app" as leroydouglas posted. If you can’t find it, use Spotlight or Finder to search for it.
