You still need to let it dry out without trying to charge it or turn it on. But, as I said, once water gets into the phone it is the end of the phone.

There’s a slight chance it’s a misdiagnosis; get a bright light and a toothpick and try cleaning out the lighting port.

Let it sit with the power off for several days. But if water got into the phone it is probably dead.
