I have iphone 11, i recently activated the esim, now iam using one esim and other nomal sim. i felt that the battery consumption was increased. does using dual sim increasing power consumption?
Yes. It has to maintain connections to two cellular networks.
Since Apple has spent a lot of effort to minimize power consumption in the iPhone CPU, it may use less power to do the same calculations as a hardware SIM. but the power usage is probably insignificant compared to the power used by the cellular radio chip.
