Can I use power adapter 87w for MacBook Pro M1?

Can I use the power adapter of 87W (come with MBP 15 2019) to charge 2020 MacBook Pro M1 (which comes with 61w power adapter)? Any negative effects?

You can safely use the higher wattage adapter.
