Shutting down randomly and not turning on.

My 2019 Macbook Air won’t turn on unless it is plugged into the power cable and no one nearby is offering service. How do I turn it on without the power cable?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.1

Hi,

Resetting SMC could solve battery related issues.

How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

If it doesn't help, try to run Apple Diagnostics if it reports something related battery(PPT001 to PPT007).

Hello,

Thank you, I have already tried resetting the SMC but same issue. Now it only works when the power cable is plugged in and once I remove it, it immediately shuts down. I am about to try run Apple Diagnostics. Thank you!
