Volume without headphones on facetime

My sister recently got a new iphone 11 for christmas, on facetime- she can't hear the other person unless she uses headphones. All the apps are closed apart from facetime so it's not from another app, everything on the sound setting is turned on. Is there anything that we can do to fix this?

FaceTime mic In and Out I have an iPhone 12 mini and I have had everyone I talk to on FaceTime tell me that the audio on my end cuts in and out. They can barely hear me.. even when I move my hand away from the mic area.. they still can barely hear me. When I switch from FaceTime to phone call they ca hear me perfectly.. how can I fix this? FaceTime Audio Too Loud Everytime I join FaceTime calls, whether it be me and my brother or a group of friends, the audio is always loud for absolutely no reason. Even on the lowest setting, it still finds a way to be louder than a child screaming at the playground and it’s so aggravating. Is there anyway to fix this??? How am I supposed to have late night FaceTimes while my dad is sleeping if the audio is always blaring like it’s on the loudest setting?? I use an IPhone 11, but I’ve heard of it happening for many old (and more recent) phones as well.
