Mac Photos App Crashes When Viewing Connected iPhone

I am trying to import photos from my iPhone into my macOS Photos library using a USB cable. When I open Photos on my MacBook Pro, I see the iPhone in the left sidebar but when I click it, the Photos app crashes.

Any help would be appreciated. Both my MacBook Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are up to date (macOS 11.1, iOS 14.3). I have attached the crash report below.
