Updating to iOS 11

Apparently I can't download Garage Band onto my 2013 MacBook Air as I don't have iOS 11. Any advice please....Cheers

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download Big Sur through the link provided.

For reference, Macs run Mac OS X and macOS, not iOS.
