system extension blocked but no way to allow it

So i am trying to install bluestacks android emulator, and everything is fine until i get to about 90% finished in the first start up of the app. I get a message saying 'system extention blocked please go to security and privacy settings to allow the extension" so i go over to securrity and privacy settings and there is no message or button to allow the system extension. I have tried many different ways to get it to work but none of them work. Thanks

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.0

Try Right-clicking or Control-clicking on the app and choose "Open" to see if it prompts you for permission to run the app. This is a much better & more reliable way to launch third party apps. Too many times I never get the prompt in the "Security" pane when launching an unsupported third party app.

Try rebooting the Mac and running the app again. I had a similar issue trying to use the Intel Power Gadget which only gave me the prompt on initially running the installer, but never prompted me for permission when running the app even in the "Security" pane. After rebooting the app just mysteriously started working.

Are you running any anti-virus apps, cleaning apps, or third party security apps that may be interfering?

Catalina & Big Sur have changed a lot and added more security safeguards & restrictions for running third party extensions. Double check that the app is compatible with your version of macOS. You may need to contact the developer for assistance.
