How do I scribble with an Apple Pencil in Spanish?

Hey everyone, I had a question about the Apple Pencil.

Is it possible to scribble with the Apple Pencil in Spanish? And by that I mean, how do I use accent marks?

For example, “lápiz” has an “á”, but everytime I scribble an “a” with an accent over it, it just prints as “a”. Is there a setting I could turn the ability to use accents on with?
