Can't find ESIM function on my iPhone 12

Hey, i just bought iphone 12 ZA/A which featured dual sim. However, i can't find esim function in it. What should i do? Thanks.

No eSIM in my iPhone 14 pro I bought a Lyca eSIM, tried installing it in my device but it turns out there is no esim option in my phone. I go to settings--> mobile data--> there is just one nano sim option. there is nothing about an esim as compared to my friends who have both nano sim and esim in the mobile data settings. I am quite frustrated with the whole ordeal. What's worse is that the person I contacted on support had no clue and Lyca wants a Lyca number for a callback. Amazing. I tried everything on the internet. Yes, my phone is unlocked. Yes, my phone has an EID.

Does the iPhone 14 Pro with physical Dual SIM also support eSIM? Some versions (models) of the iPhone 14 Pro are with physical Dual SIM. Do these models also support eSIM? Applies to both iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Have you Activated eSIM on your device? Contact your Carrier first, and get a QR code.

Set up your cellular plan with eSIM

Go to Settings > Cellular.
Tap Add Cellular Plan.
Use your iPhone camera to scan the QR code.
If you're asked to enter a confirmation code to activate the eSIM, enter the number provided with the QR code.
