Ipod Classic. Lost Content

After the last sync with my iTunes, on my Macbook Pro, my iPod Classic has lost all of its content.

Now iTunes won't even acknowledge the iPod to re-sync. Has anyone else had this problem.,or have a solution to remedy this issue. The iPod has performed flawlessly for years.

iPod Classic won't sync with Ventura 13.0.1 Hi there, since I updated my MacBook Air to Ventura 13.0.1, my iPod Classic will no longer sync my library with Apple Music. I connect it, then when I click on it in Apple Music, it tells me "This iPod is open in another window" ... I then try again and can see the songs on my iPod, but trying to sync it just gives me a swirling icon that never progresses, even if I leave it for an hour. When I eventually yank my iPod (because it won't eject when this happens either), my files on the iPod are unchanged. I've tried resetting the iPod and the MacBook many times, but nothing is working. I have also tried different ports on the MacBook. Any suggestions on how I can fit this? I've got music from weeks ago that I haven't been able to add and listen to yet!

Since the Ventura 13.0.1 Update, iPods won't load Ever since updating to Ventura 13.0.1, none of my iPod shuffles will load on my Mac Desktop (I have a few that I still use for running with different playlists). When I attach one, it briefly shows in the Finder, then disappears before I can do anything with it. In Apple Music, it shows, but either says "this ipod is in use in another window" or "device can not be found." I've restarted a couple of times, and it makes no difference. Bottom line is, I can no longer load/replace music on these devices. Any thoughts, work-arounds, advice? Thanks!

See Corrupt iPod Classic - Apple Community. The first section has details regarding media recovery, chances are likely slim if you've allowed the device to be wiped. It should never have been the sole location of your media.
