is it possible to remove activation lock from within the Business Manager portal?
We have a number of devices which are activation locked but no longer connected to our MDM platform so was wondering if I can kick them out from within Business Manager.

You can contact Apple and use business manager as proof of ownership. They can assist you from there. ABM does not have the ability to remove activation lock itself.
