Macbook pro issues logic board fail on almost new computer.

How come all macbook pro/air issues can only be resolved by replacing the logic board? My macbook pro 13 inch late 2017 I bought on December 2018 (my mom didn’t realized they sold her an older model at apple store) utah. After 1 year 3 months the laptop started restarting suddenly all the time until it finally stopped working at all. Of course the apple store says they need to replace the logic board which costs 644 us dollars!! Insane!!! How bad and low quality your products have become apple??!!! And I know I am not the only one.
