I would like to buy a used Smart Folio Keyboard MU8H2T/A for my iPad Pro 4th gen but the seller warned me that it is only compatible with the 3d generation. Is this true? Thank you.

it's true that is compatible but the one from the 2018 will be only physically compatible with the 3d generation as the hole in the back of the folio can accommodate only the thinner iPad Pro 12.9 3d generation camera.
So I gave up on buying this product from the seller. He sent me a picture and my iPad 4th camera can't surely fit.
I should get the last version of the keyboard and that is also retrocompabible.
