Rode mic not working with Facebook live

I've been following a similar thread since Nov and I'm happy to say that Facebook's most recent update seems to have fixed the problem. My wife has been live streaming and I got her the Rode Wireless Go and SC6-L. Everything was fine until around November.

We just tested it today and the SC6-L worked correctly and we did not have to wait to plug it in. FB immediately recognized it. I hope that this continues to stay this way.

Long story short, update your FB iPhone app ASAP

I tested it last week with the suggestion of plugging the mics in 10 seconds after Live starts and it worked. I had tried the suggestion of plugging it in after a few weeks ago and it didn't work, but I didn't wait that long. Going live today. So hopefully it works! Plugging the mic in 10 seconds after live starts has been the best advice I've ran across. It's definitely very frustrating. Hoping this is a lasting solution!

I also have been having the same issues with my external microphones and Facebook live. I’ve been doing live church sermon videos since this pandemic. And over the last month none of my secondary microphones are working with the Facebook live stream. I tried the test of plugging in the mic receiver after live stream started and with no luck. Such a major inconvenience. Thanks Facebook!

My Rode Wireless Go actually worked today with my FB live stream church video! So I’m not sure if FB did an update since my last 4 weeks of videos or not, but it actually worked today! Fingers crossed..

Sad to say “no”. I did have one day last week when it worked. Not since though. I have exhausted all the possibilities. It frustrates and infuriates. The Rode mic’ works perfectly for other uses just not with Facebook.

This just became an issue for me TODAY. Haven't had any problems since the last bug, which was to plug in once broadcast started. I think this is a sign that I stop broadcasting on Facebook.

The update didn't help. I'm using 14.3, iPhone 11 Pro

I am having the same problem. I have tried changing the sequence of when I plug in etc. Nothing working.

Yes me too.. tried everything.. even using my older iPad with operating system 12.1 still on it. Still nothing.

Any progress? Frustrating.

Please let me know if your Rode Wireless is now working with Facebook live? I was getting ready to purchase until I ran into this thread. Thank you!

It’s been hit and miss one day it’ll work the next it won’t.. Extremely frustrating!

Yes It appears since the last update it has been working with no further issues for me also.
