Fujifilm XT3 and MacBook

Hey, I have an issue. I placed my Lexar SD card from the Fujifilm xt3 into the MacOS Catalina computer port instead of using the cord as describedin the video ( I did this before looking at the video), Photos app came up, asked to import and I did. Only half of them imported. Now I cannot see the images. I took the photos in RAW. There are boxes for a number of pictures imported but no images are there to see. I put the SD card back into the camera and now the half of the images imported cannot be viewed on the camera. Can this be fixed? Did I lose the imported photos? What can I do?

Hello Lexter24,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that your imported photos only appear as blank boxes.

Are you able to take any other action with the imported photos such as check their info to see or edit the date and time? If you connect your camera now, are you able to see and import any photos? Check out Import photos from a camera or phone using Photos on Mac for the recommended method.

Next, try starting in safe mode and see if the issue occurs there. Check out How to use safe mode on your Mac for information about how to access safe mode.

Have a great day!
