I cannot be sure without seeing the issie, but if you have a USB-C MBPro with thin horizontal lines (almost like scan lines), then the Display Assembly is bad and needs to be replaced. You can confirm by using an external display. If the external display is good, but the internal display has lines, then it is confirmed.
