Hello. I wish to update my 2011 iMac from the Sierra 10.12.6 version due to issues with one of the games I enjoy. The issue is that the update notification is not showing up in the App Store, and so I am unable to do this legitimately. Naturally, I do not want to risk having a virus as the main OS of my computer, and so I must ask the fine people of this community for assistance.

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download High Sierra through the link provided. That Mac model can't be upgraded past it.
