Siri and Whatsapp Call and Messages on iPhone 12

I have the latest iPhone 12. Whenever I command Siri to make a WhatsApp call or send a WhatsApp message, Siri replies "Sorry, there is a problem with the app". Done it all. Reset the phone. Deleted the WhatsApp account and logged in afresh. Nothing works. This works on iPhone 7 and the XR. No clue as to what is the issue with this device. Giridhar

WhatsApp is not an Apple product, best you ask the app developer on their website/forum for support.
