Indoor Walking activity not closing Exercise ring

When walking using the Indoor Walking activity, my exercise ring isn't closing even though I am walking for more than 30 minutes. How do I fix this? I thought if you used the Activity it should count. Thanks!

I walk on a treadmill for at least an hour. I set the workout to indoor walk. Yet the activity ring (which is set for 30 minute goals), never closes. It will close for an outdoor walk. No I am not. I do not hold my arms straight down though either.
