Was CNN removed from Apple TV ?
I have a 3rd Generation. Where did CNN disappear to?
According to a user in a similar thread, he or she has received confirmation from Apple Support staff.
Are you no longer providing access to CNN?
You are not addressing Apple here. We on this forum are end users much like yourself. It seems that CNN ended the service, as likely it is a lot of special effort for a shrinking group of users of these models devices.
Yea I’m not reaching out to CNN, apple is the middle man here, apple is a the provider ,,, you or apple should reach out to cnn, you’re a level 7 ,,, I’m sure your “access” is far more than mine, do your job, you’ve earned it. Get back to me with results thanks! 👍

Avoidance from a Loss of Customers, Maybe?:
I bet this all has to do with feedback from Apple's customers' fondness-levels of the app. If customer's don't like something, then it's the same reason as to why a company would stop selling a brand/series of items: To regain the loss of faith and value in its customers
If you are olde enough to remember Super Size Me, you'd recall that McDonald's stopped selling Super Size products - their sales plummeted, and their reputation shrank.

This is a user-to-user forum. No one in this thread works for Apple or has access different from yours. People like TheLittles try to help people here because they enjoy helping people. They are not required to do anything for you.
Btw...Much appreciated information from theLittles,,, i’m just annoyed that this is happening and I shouldn’t have to contact CNN I’m just not going to buy another Apple TV device if they’re Continuously removing apps year after year
Thank you! Totally understandable, but knowing the info you just stated it just proves that there’s is no purpose of spending hundreds of dollars for an Apple TV device that will have content stripped from you throughout ownership.
I might as well buy a cheap fire stick or roku or even utilize my smart tv lol

You should buy whatever device best meets your needs.
I have had my current ATV, the 4th gen, since it was released almost 6 years ago. It keeps getting more and more features.
I just came across this as well. I first checked to see if it was somehow hidden. Nope. Maybe Apple just sees how annoying the app is, or how tedious CNN content has become? Unfortunately it still works on my 4K.

I have a new Apple 4K which I bought at Christmas and CNN Go has stopped working on as well. I’ve reloaded the app a few times without any luck. Every time I enter the code on my IPad or IPhone I receive a successful message indicating the app has been activated, yet it doesn’t work. Very disappointed.

I guess they just lost a viewer, o well.
