I have a 3rd Generation. Where did CNN disappear to?
According to a user in a similar thread, he or she has received confirmation from Apple Support staff.
Are you no longer providing access to CNN?
You are not addressing Apple here. We on this forum are end users much like yourself. It seems that CNN ended the service, as likely it is a lot of special effort for a shrinking group of users of these models devices.

I have model A1469 / 3rd generation. I always logged in through my cable provider.. WTF?
I’m new to this forums, I was just asking for info as a relative novice... no need to be snippy... I had no idea what was happening and was pleased to see I wasn’t on my own.
