Old duckhead with the new 30w USB-C Power Adapter

Hello everyone. I’m buying the Magsafe Duo Charger and the new 30W USB-C Power Adapter (model MY1W2AM/A) in the US (not where I live) and I want to understand compatibility with older and alternative duckheads.

I currently own an older iPad charger with the appropriate duckhead to plug in my country of residence (model A1561). Can I just switch this old duck with the one on the new USB-C charger? Can i get an alternative duckhead from a cheap provider? Or my best shot is to just get a regular plug adapter and keep the US duckhead that comes with the new charger?

I wanna know all my options since Apple wants me to buy a whole kit of adapters even if I only need the one, but I really don’t wanna mess things up and end up with a non-working charger or ever worse burning out my devices.
