Iphone 7 Mic Issue

You guys are coming with one update after another and still no fixing the iphone 7 mic issue? It’s been so long. iOS14 bought it all. If you cant fix it atleast make iOS 13.7 available for us to revert

30 pin adapter not working on ios 16 For many years I have used a TASCAM iM2 external microphone with my iPhone using a lightning to 30 pin adapter. It was working great with my iPhone 12 Pro up to iOS 15.7.1. Recently I updated to iOS 16.1.1 and the microphone no longer works. It is not recognized by any audio or video recording apps. Has Apple dropped support for the 30 pin adapter in iOS 16, or is this a bug that may be fixed in a later release?
