why do i have to turn on personal requests on homepod evrey single day?

I bought a HomePod mini recently I have two members in my household including me. for some reason, each time I ask HomePod to set a reminder for me, it keeps on asking me to turn personal requests in my home settings, which I do every single day. but then it automatically turns it off for some reason.

can someone please tell me how to fix this issue ?
