All of a sudden the battery icon is showing on my home screen. How do I get rid of it?

Is your iPhone very low on power? This display may be warning you it’s long past time to charge your battery.
The battery icon always shows in the upper right corner of your Home Screen.
No, this is a picture of the battery in a big black square in the center of the screen and you can’t get rid of it!
What’s a widget?
I see what a widget is. I don’t think so. It’s a black square with the battery in the middle. I tried to take a pic but it says it’s too big!
No it’s not. I tried to edit it like you would a widget but nothing!
Whoever this Apple support person is, don’t know what they talking about. iPhones don’t get malware, unless it’s jailbroken. But glad iPhone is okay.

My phone wouldn’t let me shut it down for hours. I finally was able to and when I restarted it the black big square was gone as well as the battery inside it. Thank God! Apple support said that there have been some strange things going on with my phone and they feared it was malware but it’s OK now.
