My Macbook Pro (2019) AMD graphics Radeon Pro 5500M 4 GB is glitching

Hi. I have a My Macbook Pro 16' (2019) that is having issues when the graphics card is switch to AMD graphics Radeon Pro 5500M. The screen starts glitching and i am unable to run a heavy program. I have tried resetting the PRAM/NVRAM but it does not work.

Is there any fix to this?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 11.1

To trouble shoot further you can:

—Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

You do not necessarily have to Login but there may be something to learn, I suspect it will only run the Integrated gfx here.

In Safe mode third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled, it removes malware, etc hampering smooth operation

The Radeon Pro 5500M is the Discreet gfx card and the more demanding of resources.

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. a reboot will put it back to normal mode.

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204443

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/Anti-Virus

You may still be under the 1-year warranty:
