Revoke approved screen time

How do I revoke additional screen time that was approved accidentally?

I would also like to have this option, such as in a case my child is being punished

Sorry, this doesn’t really answer the question asked. How do you revoke the time if you accidentally hit, “all day,” instead of “don’t approve?”

1) Downtime doesn’t affect this application’s privileges.

2) setting up app limits doesn’t

3) creating new app limitations doesn’t


If this isn’t permissible, can apple please change this arrangement for permissions of the exact opposites from being next to each other? Or an additional passcode check when selecting an option? Mistakes happen. It’d be nice to have a fail safe option.


In theory, downtime permissions should be distinct from app limits. If in the downtime window and a child asks for time, it should permit that permission during that time. However, if it’s a app extension due to overuse, it should be a different permission.


overall, the inability to revoke the extra time given is quite frustrating.


(yes, I know that at midnight it automatically resets.)
