How can I add steps on the app to see it displayed in rings if I forgto the watch but took the phone?

The rings dont show on my iphone fit app unfortunately. The steps I see on the iphone app - but I want the progress to be captured in that programm as well so I get my badges and everything! :-)
So I would love to translate the iphone step data onto the rings! How do I do that?
