Apple Watch activity rings

I am unable to wear my Apple Watch while

i work at Starbucks. I am constantly moving while I am there, but only able to track it with my phone in my pocket through the health app. Is there a way to sync my health app on my phone to fill my watch circles when I can’t wear it?

Health App on Iphone wont Sync with activity app on apple watch I have the iPhone Xs Max Software version 14.4.2 and the iPhone Watch 6 series software version 7.3.3. For some reason my health app on my iPhone will not sync my steps to my watch. I know that it does this because i have seen others do it but for some reason my will no. I have scoured the internet to fix this by resting, making sure motion and fitness are on and all that but nothing seems to work. I am about to return the watch because one of the reason it was because of this feature since I can not wear my watch at work.

No,any steps recorded on the phone go straight into the health app,they are nothing to do with the watch.
