apple 4ktv won't play 5.1 on sonos system

There is a bug in tvOS 14.3 that makes the ATV to only output PCM stereo regardless of what output format is chosen. But Netflix and Prime App are still capable of providing Dolby Digital 5.1. But anything else seem to be capable of stereo only.

I’d be happy, if manually setting the format to DD5.1 would work in my case. But forcing a format change has no effect at all.everything is output as PCM 2.0 only, although I only have videos with AC3 DD5.1 tracks. No Atmos track to test.
