How to disable round corners
The round corners in Big Sur are nasty, I can't stand looking on it.
I hope there is a way how can I disable that and have square corners, right?

I doubt that very seriously as that is a new design "feature" in Big Sur. You can use the feedback process to let Apple know:
The operating system uses an immutable style for its icons that in the Big Sur implementation, rounds the corners. Nothing you can do about that save for sending the macOS product team your feedback. They won't pay attention…because they are not about to restyle the entire operating system…

Not sure if there is a specific here or not.— " round corners vs square corners..."
What are we comparing to Big Sur here... Catalina?
if this is system wide you can send your views—Apple Feedback http://www.apple.com/feedback
