My Apple ID keeps getting locked (multiple times a week...)

First of all, I know that this has been asked more than one time, but at the same time I want to see if it's really a problem affecting a lot of people or if it's just me and a few people.

This problem has been persisting for at least two months and I am honestly sick of it.

I am repeatedly getting locked out of my Apple ID and I have to unlock it every time by entering my password, answering two security questions and reentering my password. It keeps wasting my time and stresses me out.

Now, I know that this might either be caused by someone actually trying to connect to my account, so I ended up changing my password (having to create a whole new one just for that) and it kept happening.

I am now considering it could be a bug to be honest.

I don't have 2FA activated since I don't have a phone number (I usually use Google Authenticator, but not with Apple hahaha...). And I don't want to change my Apple ID name since it would mean losing my iMessage conversations (because I use my email address to chat since, once again, I don't have a phone number).

I am genuinely irritated by this happening and would either like to get a solution to my problem or even an update from Apple if this is truly a bug (which I hope is).

What to do after [or before] you change your Apple ID [email address] or password - https://support.apple.com/HT204071 - "After you change your Apple ID email address or password, you might need to update your sign-in information with any Apple services you're using." - Or if you're seeing persistent disabled messages or repeated requests for the password to your previous Apple ID.
