Is there any way to get rid of giant header when viewing playlists in song format?

When I'm viewing playlists with "as Songs" selected under View, there is now a giant header taking up half the page with tons of blank space, 4 album covers, a giant version of the playlist title, etc. I noticed if you scroll down under the "playlists" view option, this stupid thing disappears. But it follows you on "songs," making it very difficult to manage giant playlists I've spent years working (like chronological by recording date playlists for certain artists), while the playlists option offers fewer metadata options.

Does anybody know some way to get rid of this thing, or is Apple just being stupid?

Social,

It is a new "feature" on Music in Big Sur. IMHO it is poor design, since it largely undermines the purpose of Songs view.

Hey there, socialmusic21,

We understand that you're having issues with the header blocking some of the view of your music.

Which device are you using with Apple Music? If this is a Mac, we suggest toggling the "As songs" view off then back on again to see if that helps.

You can also force quit the Music app and relaunch it.

If not, restart your Mac and try again.
