Yahoo Weather

Well, after spending some time researching the issue, I discovered that Yahoo Weather is no longer available on the Apple Watch. The App Store states that only the iPhone and the iPad are supported

The "Weather on your Wrist" screenshot above (even though it seems to show Yahoo Weather) is only an ad for other watch apps. When you click on the ad you see a few watch apps but Yahoo Weather is not one of them.

I was not able to accurately pinpoint when the app was removed but it seems that it was done more than 7 months go, most likely when they released version 2.

Either click the microphone and say "Yahoo Weather" or use the scribble interface to enter "Yahoo Weather"

Look for Yahoo Weather, and tap on it to install.

Did you install Yahoo Weather on your iPhone?

I apologize for leading you astray. I was so surprised that you could not install it that I tried myself. And this didn't work.

I download the app on my phone and tried toit on the watch and it simply does not appear in the list. I can tell you that this is highly unusual for an iPhone app supporting the watch to not have the INSTALL button in the AVAILABLE APPS.

Please use the solution offered by BobHarris (above). He shows that he successfully installed the app directly on the watch, without going through the phone.

Open App Store on your phone. Tap Search at the bottom of the screen and enter "yahoo weather" in the search field at the top. On my phone, Yahoo Weather shows up as the 2nd choice. Tap "Get" to get the app.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll down to the AVAILABLE APPS section and tap INSTALL for the Yahoo Weather app.
